At eleven in the morning, Avery got off work early to find a place to change her phone screen.

She found a repair shop about a kilometer away. She walked over and handed her phone to the staff there.

She waited for about half an hour. Her phone with a new screen was returned to her.

After she paid, she left the shop.

It was just in time for lunch. She called Mike.

"I'm outside, what do you want to eat? I'll bring it back for you."

Mike heard her voice and felt extremely awkward. If she knew that he had told Elliot about her, she would surely be mad.

"I'm having lunch with some colleagues," Mike refused politely, "Why don't you head home and rest after lunch!"

"Hmm, then I'll just head home." She could clearly sense Mike being aloof and distant from her, but her head hurt terribly, she did not have the energy to deal with it.

After hanging up, she walked back to her office and drove away.
