Also think if it from the perspective of what would make Xavier happiest. The way he is written he would only ever love Thea. He chose to serve her for a very long time not wanting a mate because she was enough. Their children already look at Xavier as a father it makes sense.
He has earned his place and has acted as a mate to them for a while. He has mutual respect and love for the triplets and they him. I think it would be beautiful for Xavier to be Thea’s 4th mate
