Adam's POV

The look on my Emma's face softened with a sweetness and surprise I hadn't expected.

"I'm glad you're interested in Amme and everything related to her. If she gives me permission, of course I'll tell you more about our relationship. Until then, you can investigate on your own. After all, I still think you're not the kind of man I want for my little sister."

"What? So you're not going to tell me anything about Amme?"

"Of course not."

She said it without hesitation.

"She has
