After thinking for a moment, Felix suddenly spoke up, "Mr. Goff, how did Black Widow Society find out that you gave him the formula?"

Pedro replied angrily, "He must have sold me out."

"He's dead?"

"No. He even called me before I got kidnapped, pretending to be all caring and concerned. Guess he felt guilty."

Hearing that, Felix had an idea. "That doesn't really line up with Black Widow Society's usual ruthlessness. Why would they leave a loose end like that? Either he holds a special position, or he knows someone important. That's the only explanation."

Pedro nodded slowly, starting to understand. "You mean, you want him to introduce us?"

"Yeah. We're out of options here. Tell him to pass on the message to tell them I'm willing to talk. I'm much more valuable to them alive."
