After Rodney was done talking, he turned to Felix. "This is the pharmacy supervisor, Pauline Cormick. You'll be working under her from now on. Work hard and don't let me down."

Felix hurriedly greeted Pauline. He had to admit that Rodney was actually quite decent. After taking the money, those few extra words he spoke might help Felix receive a bit more care. At least, that was what he thought.

But after Pauline saw Rodney off warmly, she immediately pulled a long face and assigned Felix to a young man. "Listen well. In my department, make three mistakes and you're fired. Learn properly."

The young man was Manuel Shaffer. He seemed honest and straightforward. He simply led Felix to a room connected to the pharmacy that was filled with various medicinal herbs.

"Felix, newcomers start by sorting herbs here. Don't dare try dispensing medicine yet, or you'll probably be fired within days."

Felix nodded. "Thanks for the advice."
