In the universe, there existed strange, abandoned clouds called the Etherstorm. Though they resembled regular dark clouds, they were far darker, so it was easy to identify them. They were so dark that it would send chills through anyone who glimpsed them.

Anyone who spotted these clouds stayed far away. No matter how powerful you were, getting too close could potentially get their soul sucked right in. Seeing the Etherstorm here on Azurath left both Viggo and Scorpia horrified.

"What's happening?"

Scorpia's expression darkened. Even from this distance and with her soul concealed, she found herself trembling. Despite her curiosity, she dared not move closer.

"Legend says the Etherstorm appears for only two reasons. Either you stumble upon one floating in space, or someone does something so terrible that the Cosmicroot sends the Etherstorm to destroy them."

This was clearly the second case. But Viggo was the strongest being on Azurath, so only he could potentially trigger the E
