Someone said, "You're awake, aren't you? Eat up. You'll heal right up once you finish the food."
Almost instinctively, Felix reached out and caught a huge chunk of meat, which was large enough to match half his body size.
Now that he could see things clearly, he saw a massive bonfire ahead with some unknown monster roasting on it. Though only the meat remained, judging by the skeleton, the creature must have been at least half the size of the great alligator when it was alive.
The one who tossed the meat was, naturally, the old man, who was also feasting heartily. Felix wanted to ask questions, but feeling his wounds, he decided to take a bite instead.
To his surprise, the meat was incredibly tender. He barely had to chew before he could swallow it. Within minutes after the meat entered his body, Felix could feel his wounds healing rapidly and his energy quickly restoring.
"What kind of meat is this? It's amazing."
