Felix had barely stepped out when he noticed Julius and Xenon already waiting for him. He blurted out, "You two were waiting for me?"
They nodded in perfect sync. "Duh! We've been waiting the entire day."
Felix was surprised that it had only been a day. He had felt so drained, yet the emerald bed had wiped away all his exhaustion in just one night. That thing really worked wonders.
He asked, "And why exactly were you waiting? You guys don't have better things to do?"
Julius gave a helpless shrug. "Felix, you stayed on the ninth floor of the Tower of Babel for a full month without leaving. Can't we afford a couple of days to satisfy our curiosity?"
Xenon didn't bother being polite. "What the hell were you even doing in there? Don't tell me it was nonstop fighting. There's no way you could've lasted that long physically."
Felix chuckled. "I ran into a tricky opponent. However much force I used, he matched it exactly. We only wrapped it up yesterday."
He didn't feel like getting in
