Xena said, "So far, over 200 people have refused to leave Laurel Resort."

Felix thought that was an insane number. This situation was definitely more complicated than it seemed.

He asked, "What about the staff or family members who've gone to check on them? Have any of them decided to stay?"

Xena responded immediately, "No. But Lord Hector ran some tests. He sent a few people in and found that only those who spent the night there were affected. Those who didn't stay overnight weren't influenced at all."

"Overnight?" Felix frowned, his mind racing. "There haven't been any reported deaths yet, right?"

Xena let out a bitter chuckle. "With over 200 people involved, some of their families don't even want to meet them anymore. And even when we send people in, it's a massive resort—there's no way to fully investigate in just one day. So, whether or not there have been any casualties, we still can't say for sure."

She sighed. "Since you brought up Laurel Resort yourself, I assume you h
