He had been using his power to protect the three of them from immediate danger, but the uncertainty of when it would end was frustrating. Adrian was not one to accept the status quo. He preferred to confront obstacles directly. However, there were no threats to face, only an unsettling stillness.

Feeling trapped was intolerable for Adrian. With that thought, a glint of killing intent flashed through his eyes. “If you want to kill me, don’t even think about it,” he said, his expression darkening.

He then looked into the void and turned to the others beside him. “Are you afraid? I plan to break through the sky, though I’m unsure of its condition.”
