"Keep moving forward!" Adrian urged as they reached a three-way fork. He paused briefly, then laughed. "Well, well, another fork in the road. This could work to our advantage."

After examining the new tunnels, Adrian quickly pulled out two items from his pouch. He scattered the same substance at each of the three openings, creating illusions to mislead their pursuer and buy them more time.

"Are you sure about this, Adrian? Can't he still track our energy and figure out which tunnel we took?" Tyron asked, concern etched on his face.

With a reassuring smile, Adrian replied, "No worries."

He began weaving a series of complex formations, sending waves of energy that cloaked the entrances in a deceptive mist. The intricate web made it nearly impossible to discern which tunnel they had entered.

Tyron watched in astonishment as the three tunnel entrances now appeared identical, obscured by the formations. It was impossible to tell what lay beyond them.
