"What are you, and why are you here?" he asked.

The creature seemed taken aback by Adrian’s ability to withstand its attack. It didn’t dare make any rash moves and replied in a deep voice, "I am the guardian spirit of this place. Who are you to dare intrude upon this forbidden ground?"

"Forbidden ground? guardian spirit?"
