After an hour, the light of the dial went out, and the surrounding space plunged into complete darkness.

Taking the dial and Adrian, the Blade’s Reach team left the platform and headed toward the palace ruins they had previously marked. There was a teleportation circle there, and it was the path they had used before.

Shortly after their departure, a group of people reappeared in the darkness.

"Let's go, Emma. There's nothing more we can do," a member of Emberfallen said disappointingly.

They had waited a whole year to retrieve this dial, never expecting Blade's Reach to have discovered it as well.

"We have to make the chief get back what's rightfully ours when we return!" Josef said indignantly.

Emma remained indifferent, showing little emotion except for some initial excitement when they first saw the dial.

"Let's head back," Emma ordered, and the group departed.
