In Verak’s absence—he hadn’t shown up all night—the women were heading out with Lyra, escorted by a group of males, while the rest went out to hunt for food and trade.

Drakkar didn’t like the idea of leaving his female behind, but they put him in charge of the hunting group, and Lyra convinced him she’d be fine.
