"Fine, we’ll wait here. Or do you need me to hold you while you pee too? Ugh!" Fenrir had to step back to dodge the swing of her cane.
"Cheeky boy… you’re lucky you’re a strong breed and we’ll get better Centurias out of it. That’s the only reason I put up with you…"
She kept grumbling, walking away and disappearing into the forest.
"Don’t go too far, Grandma, there might be danger!" Fenrir still shouted, genuinely worried.
But he got no answer, and the silence on the shore grew a little awkward while they waited.
As the minutes passed, Abigail grew more anxious and Fenrir frowned.
"Let’s go look for her." He took his Centuria’s hand and led her along, following the old woman’s scent.
Fenrir worried something might have happened to her, but Abigail was already sure the elder had plotted something.
And sure enough, parting the brush, they came to a clearing in the
