282. UNEXPECTED RESULTS
NARRATOR
Frederick grabbed his face, unhinged.
When the mask was crushed between Lavinia’s fingers, his own face was exposed.
Horrific, burned, scarred, his features unrecognizable.
Blisters swelled on his reddened skin and burst full of pus, leaving an unbearable stench in the air.
The cursed infection spread down his neck and began to cover his body like a plague.
His hair fell out in clumps, and even his scalp rotted with it.
"Damn witch, this is all your fault… your fault!" Frederick’s mind wasn’t right; all the madness stayed inside him.
He was in too much pain as his body curled into a ball of agony.
Frederick had nothing left to lose, so he lunged at Lavinia to finish her before dying.
He would take her with him in one last suicidal attack.
"Electra, snap out of it once and for all, damn it!"
Lavinia shouted at her specter, who was staring dazed again.
Electra’s vision wasn’t the same as Lavinia’s. She still thought she was seeing César attacking her.
Even though she knew it wa
