Yvonne took great pleasure in seeing Katie's murderous glare; Katie clearly knew that she couldn't do anything to her. Yvonne smiled and said, "But, since you really want my perfume, I can give you one bottle."

Her tone was patronizing, and she spoke as though she were offering food to a street beggar. Katie was so furious, she was about to explode!
