It was still in the middle of the night when Stephen and Neil rushed over to the mines. They could see a raging fire from afar.

As the car approached, the hot air washed over them.

Stephen got out of the car and saw Cory standing nearby. His frosty air cut through the hot air. It was rather attention-grabbing.

Stephen walked over to him. "What's the situation like?"

Cory didn't look back. He was still looking at the entrance of the mine that was caught in flames.

The firefighters looked like ants in comparison to the huge flame. It seemed as if they could be swallowed by the flames at any moment.

Cory's gaze was darkened. When Stephen was finally next to him, he said coldly, "It smells of explosives."

Stephen looked where Cory was looking. His expression turned grim too. "Are you sure it was done by someone?"

"Hmm. No one is more familiar with the smell of explosives than I am."

Cory's gaze sharpened. "That person sure is gutsy. How dare they touch the mines I'm watching over
