Once the engagement banquet was over, Otto found out that Edith hadn't attended it either.

He immediately called her. "Mom, why didn't you go to the engagement party?"

Hearing how panicked Otto sounded, Edith smiled and replied, "You weren't there. Why should I be there? I've said it before. I will always support you. I can't just say it and not take action, right?"

Otto furrowed his brows. "Did Great-Grandma make things difficult for you?"

"No." Edith thought for a while before lamenting, "I only had a fight with her."

Otto was stunned. "You two fought?"

Edith was Agath's most obedient granddaughter-in-law. From the moment she had married into the family, she had never once raised her tone.

Hence, Otto was stunned when he heard that she had fought with Agatha.

"What?" Edith pretended to be unhappy. "Am I that useless to you? Can't I even help my son?"
