Alvin then reached for the pager attached
to his belt.
“If you call for security now, I’ll make
sure you lose your job, Mr. Kenyon,” Darius casually remarked, not taking the
matter seriously even now.
That was utterly unacceptable in Alvin’s
eyes.
His cheeks burned with rage as he snapped,
“Darius, you could’ve gotten prosecuted if I hadn’t let you off the hook! How
dare you ignore how kind I was to you in the past? Not only that, but you’re
threatening me now? Oh, how I regret showing you mercy back then!”
Darius snorted before drilling his gaze
into Alvin. “It seems you haven’t realized how stupid you are now.”
