Yoshitaka turned toward Charlie, keeping his tone especially calm as he said, "Mr. Wade, the bounty was just issued minutes ago—calling the cavalry wouldn't be too late right now. As long as we keep anyone suspicious out, we'd be threatened a lot less."

Pausing, he sighed. "You really shouldn't have refused my suggestion. If I had just called a chopper, everyone, including Ms. Sweet, would have been evacuated safely in fifteen minutes. Whatever outfit is coming after us, they'd never reach us that quickly."

Charlie growled coldly, "Sure, take your chopper, but Tanya can decide for herself."

Tanya quickly said, "I'm with you, Mr. Wade!"

Yoshitake cringed a little.

He was going to diss Charlie a little and try to salvage some dignity, but he didn't expect that even Tanya wasn't on his side.

Hence, he promptly pressed, "Mr. Wade, you just said your people will be coming as phase two of our defense. Where are they now? When can they arrive?"
