Peter was taken aback, as he had never seen someone like Charlie, who so eagerly seemed to backflip his way into hell.
Frowning, he growled, "I'm CIA and the person in charge of this investigation, so you will follow my orders in our car! Do you think this is your house, and you get to sit wherever you want?"
"What are you going to do about it? Kill me?" Charlie shot back impatiently. "Don't forget that this is Japan and not your jurisdiction. Lay a finger on me, and I'll kill you right here!
"Oh, and I forgot—I'm not American, I'm Oskian! That means you are even less of a threat to me than you think, if not downright insignificant!"
Peter was left dumbfounded, as Charlie clearly wasn't joking.
