Charlie exclaimed in surprise, "You knew?"

Nanako smiled at Charlie in turn. "Tanya is quite the influential artist and boasts legions of fans. Every concert she holds is always fully booked, and there are always fans who have to fly in from other countries.

"It's even alleged that each country where she holds concerts would see a fractional GDP growth, and my best friend in Tokyo invited me to her concert too. But I said no since I'd rather focus on my training."

Pausing, she then asked, "But I thought you were never one for fads. May I presume that you're just going as a chaperone to your wife?"

Charlie nodded, owning up to it right then. "Claire's best friend is a Tanya fan too, and her friend managed to get them tickets for the Tokyo Tour, so she invited all of us along."

Nanako smiled. "Come to think of it, it's been a while since I've returned to Japan… I've never been away for so long, although it's not like I miss Tokyo. I do miss my old home in Kyoto, especially the snow.
