Roy nodded at them. "You may leave your posts. I've already called for a meeting involving every ranked officer."
"Yes, Sir!" The two guards replied and promptly left.
Charlie certainly noticed that every dead soldier they had encountered so far genuinely respected Roy instead of fearing him, and hence asked in curiosity, "You're close with the dead soldiers?"
Roy nodded. "Yes. Despite our differences in status, there is camaraderie between the dead soldiers and the armed cavalry guards.
