The slap seemed to resound in Penny's office, leaving a palm print over her forehead—an amusing image considering her haughty visage and fair skin.

Seeing her wince in pain, Charlie shook his head and teased, "Oh, you really aren't the type to hold back, huh?"

Penny was left gritting her teeth in pain, but she soon stared at her palm in disbelief as she realized she wasn't dead.

On top of that, her palm was swelling—her fair, dainty palm was suddenly swollen like a pig's legs, although her fingers remained slender.

Even as she remained utterly confused, she mused out loud, "What… How?! I used at least ten percent of my full strength. Why am I still alive?!"

That was when she tried to direct her Reiki… and realized that every single meridian in her body was sealed.

She couldn't muster her Reiki at all, meaning she was basically crippled!

As she looked up at Charlie, her eyes were filled with shock. "Y-You sealed my cultivation?!"
