They didn't have much time, but Norway was sparsely populated, and there weren't many flights. It would waste more time to get a rented vehicle to visit towns under the aurora's glow than to just drive there themselves.

To save time, they decided to use the same SUV as last time and depart after dinner.

The journey would take over ten hours, so they would be there around noon. It wouldn't be night, but it was just a couple of hours or more when it was dark as night anyway.
