Elaine pursed her lips as she huffed. "It hurts to keep that money? That's the first time I've ever heard that crap. Forget two million US dollars—I would keep two gold bullions in my pocket even if it's burnt red-hot!"

She then quickly added, "If it hurts you to keep it, then wire it to me and I'll keep it for you. When you and Charlie have a kid, you can use that money for their university fees!"

Charlie was at once amused—only Elaine would have the audacity to say that when the two
