Charlie smiled when he heard Vera's voice and said, "I'm in Canada, about to head to Montreal."

"Montreal?" Vera beamed in a delicate voice, "The last time I went to Montreal was during the Second World War..."

She then asked curiously before Charlie could reply, "Aren't you in the United States? Why are you in Canada? Have you met Raymond?"

"I've met him," Charlie answered. "Too many things have happened, and it's hard to explain over the phone. I called because I need your help."
