Immediately Ariana reported the news to Derek, she heard a beeping sound that indicated that the receiver had hung up. She fell down on her knees outside the hospital and continued crying her eyes out, somewhere deep inside her heart; she prayed that the news hadn’t affected Derek in anyway.***The cell phone dropped from Derek’s hand and landed on the marble floor of his sitting room, the glass of whiskey he was holding in his left also fell off his grip and shattered on the floor, causing Amelia to rush out of the kitchen that was close to the sitting room. Ariana stood outside the hospital, ever since she called Derek, she hadn’t gone back inside. She wanted to be the first one o recieve him, she had to try and stop Derek from doing any harm to Sam, she knew he was going to blame him for everything that happened to both Elena and Ethan. Even though a part of it was his fault too. The manager, Sam, and the waiters who were watching the drama all turned to the direction the voice came from, no one noticed when he entered the restaurant or where he came from; and surprisingly. It wasn’t just one man. The old man sat on one of the fancy chairs in the restaurant, behind him were ten well-built men, with stern faces, black suits, and dark sunglasses. Only the old man was wearing a suit that seemed more expensive, it was a tuxedo. His hair was all gray, and there were wrinkles on his face. The manager recognized the kind of people who dressed that way, he must be one of the rich moguls in Los Angeles, he thought. Sam had been getting too many surprises and shocks for one day, he looked up at the old man from where he was sitting, his eyes glowing in amazement. The healthy rays of the morning sun, found their way into Sam's large bedroom, going straight for his eyes, the curtains weren’t closed when he fell asleep last night.
