Cristina’s voice rose again, trembling and sharp.

“I’M NOT JOKING!” she screamed, eyes wide, arm shaking as she gripped the gun with both hands. “I’VE SPENT YEARS SWALLOWING THIS HATE!”

Thor clenched his fists, struggling to breathe. Everything around him blurred—the weight of Karina’s past, the fear of what might come next, and the certainty that this night would leave scars too deep to fade.
