Thor strode down the hospital corridor with measured steps, his jaw locked, his eyes like steel. There was no hesitation, no tremor in him. But he was stopped by a presence radiating pure hatred.
“If you ever dare to hurt my daughter again…” Otávio growled, suddenly blocking his path. “You’ll leave this hospital in a body bag.”
The cutting silence lasted seconds. Thor stopped. His gaze locked onto Otávio’s—ice against fire.
“I’m not afraid of your threats, Otávio,” he said, his voice low and razor-sharp. “And if your daughter’s in this state… part of the blame is yours. You raised a spoiled woman who thinks she can control everyone with a few tears.”
Otávio’s face flushed with rage, his fists clenching.
“If you hurt her again, Thor… I swear… I’ll end you.”
Thor stepped closer until his face was inches from his father-in-law’s.
“If she suffers again, it’ll be from her own choices. Not mine. And if you really want to protect your daughter… start by teaching her to face reality.”
Without
