Kevan complied, calling out, "Cody."

"Kevan …" Ruby also greeted him, her voice soft and gentle. With a smile, she continued, "You're back?" Her smile carried a hint of flattery.

Kevan did not sit beside Cody. Instead, he led Larissa to take a seat on the other side of Roland.

Finally, Cody turned his attention to Larissa and inquired, "And who might this be?"
