Rebecca and others returned home.

Rebecca did not take her purse out of her car. She even left the dress she bought.

When was the last time she had someone else buy anything for her? It had been years, and she didn’t even remember the last time it happened.

She didn’t want to owe anything to anybody. But if she were to give the money that cost for the dress to Benjamin, it wouldn’t look good on her part. So, she wanted to return the favor in another way.

After some thinking, she brought a sealed pair of inline skates over to Benjamin and said, “Please take these.”

Benjamin remembered that she had bought multiple skates a few months back. “I already have a pair.”

“But these are of top quality,” Rebecca said.

“Don’t you want to use them then?”

“I’m only a beginner, and I already have a pair that I use,” she said. “So, I think you will put these to better use.”
