The director hesitated. "Why…would you think of asking about this?"

Eevonne immediately understood it when she saw the director's expression and she smiled miserably. "Mister Cadigan, you know who Dash's girlfriend is, don't you?"

The director did not answer but asked her in return, "Is it that even Dash's girlfriend came forward to interfere with you?"

Eevonne nodded. "I was carrying the formalities of treating Dash and his assistant to lunch. In the end, before the dishes were even properly
