Light re-entered Serenity's eyes. By the time her eyes adjusted to the light, Lucas and Lynette were already standing nearby.

"Fancy seeing you here, Serenity. You're here with... Mr. Valor?" Lynette seemed confused. She thought her cousin had already broken up with Jackson Valor. Why were they together? What's going on?!

Lately, she had been sick with worry that Serenity might reveal the truth to Lucas, so she had been slandering Serenity hard in front of Lucas and reinforcing the idea that she was the girl who saved him.

However, Serenity never did tell Lucas the truth, which made Lynette heave a sigh of relief… until they unexpectedly ran into Serenity here!

"You have a problem with that?" Jackson, not Serenity, answered her.

"No, of course not!," Lynette tried to smile.

"Why are you two here together?" Lucas directed his question right at Jackson.

He did not beat around the bush!

"I told you, you can't touch her," Jackson's reply seemed pretty random. It did not answer L
