"Say something for me, Caleb!" Jane turned to Caleb after pleading with Lucas, but what happened next was out of Jane's expectations. Caleb acted as if nothing had happened.

"What? You did something wrong, didn't you? Isn't it only natural to leave the decision to the court?"

"Caleb?!" Jane raised her voice in clear disbelief. She never expected Caleb to say something like this. "B-But I'm your girlfriend. Are you going to leave me to die?!"

"Girlfriend?" Caleb snorted a laugh. "I never said
