"I felt horrible watching Summer at Nathan's grave today," Serenity murmured. "Nathan risked his life to protect her. I wonder how Nathan would feel knowing her current state."

"You seem to be caring more and more about Summer," Jackson lamented.

"Probably because I've been checking a lot of her information. After getting in touch with her, I feel a lot more sympathy for her," Serenity sighed. "If Summer had loved Nathan instead, maybe things would have been very different."

"Maybe," Jackson said. "But if the car accident couldn't be avoided, Nathan's death would've caused Summer even more pain."

Serenity wrapped her arms around Jackson, still emotional about everything that had happened. "Jack, I'm glad you're well and safe!" After seeing what happened to Summer, she realized how life was so short and cherished every moment even more.

Serenity once thought her life was nothing but suffering. After overcoming all the hard times in life, she wished she could keep this happiness.
