At night, Clara spoke to Yannick after he finished his homework. "I'm going to Latveria tomorrow. You'll stay at home with Grandma. You're a good boy, so stay home and wait for me to come back, okay?"

Yannick became curious. "Mom, are you going to find Dad?"

Clara hesitated slightly. "I have something to discuss with your dad. I'll be back in a few days."

"Are you going to reconcile with Dad?" Yannick asked.

Startled by the child's question, Clara answered after a moment of silence, "Nothing will change for now. Even though we're not back together, we both love you. Whatever happens, I still hope your dad will be safe and well."

"Why are you not back with Dad? Because of how bad he was?" Yannick wondered.

Clara stroked her son's head. "You'll understand when you grow up. Well, it's late. You should get ready and go to bed early."

Yannick grunted slightly, a little confused by his mother's statement. Wait till he grew up? But when would he be a grown-up?
