In the wee hours of the morning, the nurse was startled by the sound of the door opening. Momentarily frozen, she saw a tall figure enter the room.

"Excuse me, sir, what..."

"Please step outside for a moment. I wish to be alone with her," Terry cut her short.

"But..." the nurse hesitated.

"I'm Terry White," he said.

The nurse was taken aback. Terry White? The person who arranged this job for her had instructed her to be careful when she cared for the pregnant woman because the person hiring her was the CEO of the White Maple Group.

She knew that the CEO of the White Maple Group was Terry White. This was her first time seeing him in person.

Silently, the nurse left the hospital room, gently closing the door behind her.

Terry gazed at the sleeping Lisa whose face was illuminated by the moonlight seeping through the window. Her serene expression seemed to calm the restlessness in his heart.

"Lisa, how much do you truly love me? How much of what you said was true?" Terry murmured
