Jackson looked at the complicated jigsaw puzzle his son was putting together. It was a 1000-piece puzzle and was a perfect size for grown-up puzzlers. An adult would take some time to finish such a puzzle, but Micah worked quickly, putting the pieces together.

Jackson sat next to Micah and looked at the puzzle his son was working on. There were two boys and a girl on the puzzle. Three children… The triplets. Was his son thinking of his brother and sister?

Five years ago, when Jackson had woken up in the hospital, Connor had told him that he had a wife named Serenity, and she was pregnant with triplets. Unfortunately, only one of the children survived after his wife had crashed into the ocean.
