When Sheila went downstairs, she saw their cook, Pam, already preparing breakfast in the kitchen. She went into the kitchen to greet her.
“Going for your morning run?” Pam asked with a smile. “You guys are really good at keeping it up. I just can’t stick with it, so I just keep getting fatter and fatter.”
Sheila glanced at Pam’s waist and said, “Pam, you’re only slightly overweight. Controlling your diet and getting more exercise can help you lose it.
“We’re used to morning runs. Pam, I’ll head out for a run now and be back in half an hour for breakfast.”
“Go ahead. I’ve just started preparing breakfast. It should be ready by the time you get back. Dr. and Mrs. Jones also just went out for their morning exercise.”
As she walked out, Sheila said, “Uncle Marvin and Aunt Enid just take a couple of laps around the park and do some line dancing with others before coming back. We take different routes.”
