She noticed the baby in Serenity’s left arm and crawled over out of curiosity. She wanted to climb over Serenity to touch the baby.
Jane was worried her children would squish the baby. After all, they were just a little more than a year old. They were still unaware of their surroundings.
She lifted Chloe and said, “You can’t crawl everywhere, Clo-clo. The little baby’s still sleeping. Don’t wake him up.”
