I woke up feeling unwell, but I wouldn't let it get me down. I needed to be stronger than the sadness I was feeling. I took a long shower, got ready, and while I drank coffee, I turned on my phone.

I thought it best to cancel the appointment with Enzo; I wouldn't put anyone else at risk. I sent a text with some kind of excuse, saying we'd reschedule soon, and he sent me a cute little sticker of a crying baby.

I thought about what to do and decided that as soon as I made my appointment with the company, I would spend a few days with my grandmother in the countryside. It would be nice to have some peace of mind there.

It wasn't long before I received a message from the company saying they would make my appointment today and I should be there at two in the afternoon. Great, so I could go to my grandmother's house today.

At the scheduled time, I showed up at reception, and a security guard escorted me to the executive's meeting room. There's no way they'd attack me again! I wal
