“Samantha”
I had no idea where Heitor would take me, and he didn't offer any hints. But the way he took me seemed to have something to do with the beach. Porto Paraíso is a coastal city, and I love the beach and sunbathing, so when he told me to bring a bikini, I was beyond excited.
Heitor kept the conversation light and put on some upbeat music. During our nearly half-hour drive, he asked me about my week and what I thought of my new job. He showed interest in my things, and that enchanted me.
As we approached the sea, I was as eager and excited as a child, and he could tell, with a smug smile on his face. We passed the shore, and Heitor led the way to the marina and into a private parking lot.
"Come, my goddess, I'll take you to the sea!" Heitor grabbed our luggage and then took me by the hand, leading me to the end of the pier and stopping in front of a huge yacht.
"I can't believe you rented a yacht, Hector," I said, enchanted by that imposing vessel.
"Of course not, my goddess."
