I woke up with a massive headache, the kind I got from shedding a river of tears yesterday—a massive headache and dark circles under my eyes. And a terrible mood.
I arrived in the living room and Heitor was giving instructions to a group of people—the security guards and staff. When he saw me, he gave me a beautiful smile and extended his hand.
"Sam, good morning!" He kissed my head and began introducing me to all the staff. There were a lot of people.
When the introductions were over, everyone left the room, and Heitor pulled me into a hug, which comforted me and improved my mood a bit.
"Are you okay?" he asked in my ear.
"Not really. I have a headache and a malaise I can't explain." I grumbled, laying my head on his shoulder.
"Oh, my poor goddess!" Heitor spoke in an affectionate tone that drew a small smile from me. "Come on, let's have a nice breakfast, and then you can take a pain reliever. I'll call Alessandro and let him know you won't be coming today."
