"Let them in, Madam Baresi," Eric said.

After a while, Felicia brought a woman. Eric and Sylvia recognized her. It was Jessica, the one who had visited the Williams in Salt City.

"Have you had breakfast?" Sylvia asked. "If not, come and join us. Madam Baresi just prepared it."

Jessica smiled faintly. "Thanks, but I've already eaten."

Sylvia nodded and quietly sat down for breakfast. Eric occasionally shared tasty morsels with Sylvia. Jessica observed in silence without saying much.
