Harvey froze.

“What does this have to do with the Torres family?”

“There’s something you don’t know, Sir York,” George said quietly.

“After Elder Colton retired, he became a nominal leader of Country H’s Martial Arts Alliance. This was why his status was still exceptionally high in Flutwell after his retirement.”

Harvey was surprised; he didn’t think Colton would have a title like that.

“That said, Country H’s Martial Arts Alliance is just an alliance for the sacred martial arts training grounds. It seems like an organization on the outside, but in reality, the sacred martial arts training grounds have control of it.”

“Elder Torres barely has any authority. The authority is split up between the vice leaders of the sacred martial arts training grounds here.”
