David pushed open the door when he heard the click sound of the lock opening and entered inside. 

Without looking at anyone, he walked toward the vanity where Kate was sitting. Her backside was facing everyone. Every step he takes feels heavier. 

But he wanted to walk faster, his heart beating loudly in his chest. Everyone made way for David; Kate stayed still.
