Minutes passed and everyone left. Ara was walking Adeline around with a smile while Lucca played with her.

—Lucca will be an excellent father.

—Just like you, love. —Kate kissed the back of his hand while they watched Lucca and Ara.

—I’m not so sure about that; I left my baby alone for more than a week.

—Because you were taking care of me. —Bastien turned and hugged her.

—You’re the most precious thing I have, Kitty. —Kate hugged him back as the guys came over.

—Addy’s hungry —Lucca said, startled, as the baby began to cry.

—Alright, let’s go upstairs.

The four of them went up, and Kate saw the crib next to the bed, along with a changing table and diapers.

—I moved some things into your room since Addy is too little to sleep alone —Ara said as she organized some of the baby’s things.

—Thank you, that’s exactly what I wanted to do. —Kate smiled as Ara handed the baby to Bastien.

—Well, we’re leaving now. Get some rest.
