George roared like thunder. His blade-like arms gleamed coldly and sliced through Abigail's body with lightning speed. The speed of his momentum sent him skidding for about 25 feet before he finally came to a halt.

"This is what happens when you piss me off, bitch!" He turned and laughed maniacally with a fierce expression. He believed that strength mattered and not the useless poisonous mist or creature.

"Hey, what are you laughing at?" A clear, crisp voice rang out from the front.

George looked toward the voice and was surprised to see Abigail. She casually turned with a smirk as if she were looking at a fool.

"Hmm?" His smile faltered and was replaced by shock.

What happened? Hadn't his blade already sliced through her neck? Why was there no sign of injury?

Could he have missed it? That seemed impossible. His blade was as fast as lightning, and she hadn't even moved. How could he have missed? What on earth had happened?
